What if we want a country band, line dancers instructors, a Mariachi band, a Dixieland band, a swing band, classical music, a string quartet, a harpist, or strolling musicians?
No problem! Aside from our three featured groups,
Marino
Music has many of the top specialty groups and musicians under
its vast musical umbrella.

How many musicians are in your featured musical groups?
As always, we will tailor the size of the group you choose to meet your

What is the instrumentation and do you have vocalists in your groups?
All of our featured groups have
Diane on piano (or keyboards)

How many hours do you usually perform?
We will perform up to four hours. Anything past that would be considered overtime.
top
Are you willing to play overtime if needed and if so what is
the cost?
Absolutely! The cost is usually pro-rated.
top
Is there a price difference if you perform for less than four
hours?
Three to four hour events are almost always the same price. In general, it
all depends on whether the timeline of your event prevents us from booking
another performance on the same evening.
top
Do we need to sign a contract?
Yes. It secures your event date and commitment to us as well as securing our
total commitment to you. Our contract contains all your event information,
location, date and time of performance, special requirements, total cost,
deposit and final balance payments.
top
What is your policy on a deposit and final balance payment?
In order to secure your event date we ask that the contract be signed and
returned to us within two weeks of the issuing
date with a 50% deposit. Final payment is due two weeks prior to your event
date. We are flexible with this policy in certain circumstances.

Do you require a stage, lighting or a PA?
Having a stage or risers makes for a better appearance. Risers are usually
4ft x 8ft and 8 inches to 24 inches high. The stage size would depend upon
the number of musicians in the band. Usually a 12ft deep x 16-20ft long
stage is sufficient. If the venue doesn’t have enough staging to hold
the band you’re better off not having any staging at all.
We supply our own lighting and PA at no extra cost to you. In some
cases it is necessary to hire a sound company, especially if it is a very
large event.
top
What will the band be wearing?
Our standard dress code is formal, black tuxedos. We also wear jacket & tie.
If so desired, when having a theme party or specialty band, the attire compliments
the band.
top
Do you have a songlist and a CD of your music?
Our repertoire is very extensive. For your convenience our website contains
an abbreviated song list and music samples of the various styles of music
we perform. If you don’t see it a song listed that doesn’t mean
we don’t do it. If you have a particular song is that is not in our
repertoire, we will do our best to learn it. However, you must supply us with
a recording and sheet music of the song at least 90 days prior to your event
date.
top
Can I come and hear you play in person?
Since our performances are for mostly for private and corporate events, prior
permission is needed in order to come hear and see us perform live.
top
Can you be volume conscious?
We are always very volume conscious, whether it’s soft cocktail and
dinner music or high-energy dance music. The key in dance music is to create
the energy without being too loud and this is something we take pride in doing.
top
How long are your sets and do you have a CD player for your breaks?
As an experienced bandleader, I generally don’t put a time limit on
our sets. I work the party, sort of speak. We could be playing for
1 hour or 2 hours before taking a break. Many times the music must
be coordinated with the caterers, photographers and special announcements.
When we do take a break it is usually from 10-15 minutes and I do
provide a CD player and music. Also, for an additional charge you
have the option of having continuous live music.
